Department Info :
1. Urology section has been active as part of General Surgery Dept since July 2011 under experienced qualified Urology faculty.
2. Urology Dept was formally recognized by BVDU in August 2021.
3. OPD : General Urology > Monday-Wednesday-Friday From 10.00 am to 01.00 pm
Speciality Clinics ( To be started soon ) > Paediatric Urology / Uro-oncolgy / Sexual Medicine
4. IPD : In addition to general urology cases ( e.g. Prostate / Urolithiasis / Strictures ), cases of sub-specialty are treated on regular basis ( e.g. Endo-Urology / Paediatric Urology / Uro-Oncology / Uro-Gynaecology / Laparoscopic Surgeries / Adrenal Surgeries / Reconstructive Urology etc ).
5. All types of urological emergencies are managed round the clock, with availability of additional emergency support from various depts. Like radiology / pathology / cardiology / nephrology / medicine / orthopaedics etc.
6. Govt recognized Renal Transplant Programme started in 2017. Both live renal transplant & cadaver harvesting facilities are available. 7. Library facility, including digital library
