1. About Department :
The Department of Cardiology was started on 17 June 2013, By the Hands of Hon. Dr. Patangrao Kadam Sir, The first case was done by Dr. Ravikant Patil, Cardiologist. Now Dr. Amit Joshi, Dr. Riyaj Mujawar, Dr. Sachin Gavade, Dr. Yogesh Jamage, Dr. Rohit Shrivastaw is Joined as Cardiologist at department. Dr. Amit Joshi is HOD of department.
The department have 12 Beds of CCU, 8 Beds of Step down CCU, 8 Beds of Cardiac ward and 20 Beds of General Ward.
In CCU we have 20 Nursing Staff, 8 MPW staff, 1 Barbar
In OPD we have 1 staff nurse, 1 ECG technician, 1 ECHO technician.
Most important we have successfully completed our DNB Inspection conducted on 24th December 2021 for the DNB Course and we got the sanction of One admission for DNB in cardiology department
2.Facilities Available :
In department cath lab done various procedure like Angiography, Angioplasty, Permanent Pacemaker, ASD device Clourse, PDA Device, Ballon Valvotomy, Rota Amblation. In OPD Procedure like 2D ECHO, TMT, TEE also Done.
